YOUR STAY
La Toza opened its doors on 1 May 2026, so it is still a new space. We are gradually building the community and developing the project together with the people who come to stay, work and connect with the local area.
We welcome stays of between one week and three months, although we recommend a minimum of 15 days to have time to settle in and experience the rhythm of the place.
La Toza has 5 bedrooms for up to 7 people, making it a small and relaxed coliving. You will have your own private room, while the kitchen, living areas and coworking space are shared.
The coworking has independent access and is also used by people from Cabrero and nearby villages, so you will meet both people staying at La Toza and members of the local community.

LIVING AT
LA TOZA
Living at La Toza means sharing some everyday responsibilities, such as cooking, keeping common spaces tidy and respecting the rhythm of the house.
There isn’t a permanent host living in the house, but we are nearby and available if you need us. We also sometimes join shared dinners and use the common spaces, so you may find us around the house too.
From time to time, we organise small activities or gatherings in the main floor, always trying to keep them compatible with the people living at La Toza. On Thursdays, we usually have breakfast with people using the coworking, bringing the local community and people staying at La Toza together.
We encourage you to get to know Cabrero and its community.
Location
La Toza is located in Cabrero, a small village in the Valle del Jerte, Extremadura, Spain.
Cabrero has around 350 inhabitants and is surrounded by cherry and chestnut trees. The village has everything you need for everyday life, including basic shop and services, so you can manage your day-to-day needs without having to leave Cabrero.
A car is recommended but not essential. Having one makes it easier to explore the valley, visit nearby villages and get around independently, while you can also enjoy La Toza and everyday life in Cabrero without one.
Booking confirmation
The information below explains the payment terms and cancellation policy for your stay at La Toza.
Payment
To confirm your booking:
For stays of less than one month: the full amount of the stay must be paid in advance.
For stays of more than one month: the first month must be paid in advance. The remaining months must be paid at least 30 days in advance.
We will send you our bank details together with the exact amount to be paid and the payment deadline.
Once you have made the bank transfer, please send us the payment receipt by email or WhatsApp.
Your booking is considered confirmed once we have received the payment.
If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, we reserve the right to make the room available to other guests.
What happens after payment?
Once your payment has been received, we will send you a confirmation of your booking, together with our Welcome to La Toza document with all the practical information you need before your arrival.
Important before confirming
Before making the payment, please make sure that you have read and understood the information about the accommodation, the shared nature of La Toza and the cancellation policy.
By making the payment, you confirm your acceptance of these booking conditions.
Cancellation policy
Once your booking has been confirmed, the following cancellation policy applies:
- Cancellation 30 days or more before arrival
You will receive a full refund of the amount paid. - Cancellation between 29 and 15 days before arrival
You will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid. - Cancellation 14 days or less before arrival
No refund will be given.
If you need to cancel or change your dates, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always try to find the best possible solution depending on availability.
